No fast way. I make six figs off ebay but it took me 5 years since I got out of high school. You have to find a nitch and stick with it to build a clientele base. Have the best of what you sell on a weekly basis and be very friendly and customer oriented. Find out what you know best and sell that first. |

What are you passionate about ? Is there a related product ? You need to be passionate about what you sell as this will generate excitement when you talk to people. You definitely need a niche product. The market is flooded with people selling NIke shoes, Lacoste tops etc. We made a killing on them but got out when the market became saturated.

you can try droppshipping, which is you find a good supplier that does dropship, then what you actually do is sell items they have to supply,on ebay, which your customer pays you for, so you get paid,then pay the supplier for the item at ,of course a wholesale price ,which they ship direct to your customer, you need no stock,outlay ,or storage, you dont need to worry on posting your item, but you need to make sure you sell the item for enough to cover all costs and make a profit, so it wouldnt be wise to list the item on a low bidding start, it works better with a buy it now, or a adequete starting price, to cover your price and profit ,and of course your listing on e bay costs, it does work,have a look at www.dropshiponauction.co.uk this is a good example and if you wanted you can also set up your own website has well has selling on e bay.good luck. |

I tried dropshipping auctions for a few months and didn't sell a single item. The problem was, the items that were available for sale already had 50,000 other people selling the same thing. Many times, they were selling for the same or less than the actual dropship price, so I don't know how people can make $$ doing this. The best way to make $$ on ebay (IMHO), is to make your own products (make sure it's good quality and useful), whatever your nitch is. Make sure you value customers and bend over backwards to make them happy. Making your own products reduces overhead and you can set the prices, rather than trying to compete with the 10,000 other bozos selling the same thing. |
