Its true that you will get the best bargains from computer fayres. However, these places can be a bit of a "bargain basement" where you get a "no frills" service. If like me you want cheap accessories but would also like warranties, guarantees, boxes, manuals, installation CDs etc...try...

I've found them to be excellent over the last few years and their prices are extremely competitive. The downside is that you sometimes have to wait for a few days for things to come into stock - but if you're not in a rush, the prices are fantastic.
Hope that helps! |

You may find stuff at your council tip. A friend of mine got a mass of old computers that he salvaged for parts. OK, old, but useable. SDRAM is old but expensive. Could be a money making opportunity for IT scavengers |

Shop online in pc world. Reserve to pick up at the store, and you still pay online prices. |

if your from the UK, there are loads of companies that organise local computer fairs/shows in your vicinity/area
They mostly deal with PC parts and access./components (not mac/games systems or non PC)
You obviously know how to use the internet (otherwise you wouldn't be posting) just go to the search engine (like yahoo, msn, google etc) very near the search engine search bar, click on the advance search option/tab and goto the option 'exact search' and in the available text box type in either computer fair or computer show
And hopefully the selected search engine will generate a whole list of entries and take your pick |
