i usually say something like "am a perfectionist & i pay too much attention to detail and over anaylze things until their just right".

Google "What Are My Weaknesses?" and then DON'T use the examples they give. As an interviewer, having someone give a canned answer to this questions (like "I'm a perfectionist" or "I'm a work-a-holic") only tells me that they are either lying or unable to perform a reasonable self assessment. What are your legitimate weaknesses? Examine those, and present them in a such a way that you come across as understanding the weakness and actively working to mitigate it. For example, "I sometimes have difficulty taking criticism too personally, but I've been working on ways to use that criticism to improve my work habits", or "I sometimes have trouble getting off to a quick start in a new job, but I look forward to working with whoever I need to in order to hit the ground running." Honesty works.
That said, don't mention the fact that you party too hard and don't like to come to work in the mornings. Too much honesty is bad.

Be honest....what are your weaknesses? Do you have problems with delegating duties? Are you a perfectionist? Are you sometimes too conscious about your work? Those are some good ones....

Always try to find something that some people might say you're over the top about but is really a good thing. Like some people might say you're a neat freak so you could say that you've heard that you may be overly tidy. Or that some may say that you pay too much attention to details. Make sure that it's something good. Don't say anything that is actually negative about yourself.

Be honest, I mean if you have weaknesses in a job you mine as well confess about it. Tell him you want to improve in those areas and the job will help to solve those issues. Every good manager knows people who are hard working and honest (skilled at the position also) are good employees.
