but the days of making money on ebay are over. Just about every powerseller and small seller was hit this year by all the changes. I think its a Titanic and its not a good idea to start stocking up on products to sell on something that you cant depend on. They always make changes without any notice that affects its sellers so you cant trust them. You don't need a "source" because this is the internet. There are plenty of digital items such as guides you can burn to CD and sell over and over again which costs you nothing. But its best to build a business on your own website and learn how to advertise such as youtube videos and google adwords. If you depend on ebay, you are making the same mistake I made 6 years ago. Things were going fine, then they changed policies a few times. |

Before you decide to do ebay as your business I suggest you first start selling stuff you don't want around the house.
Two reasons. 1. You can learn the ebay policies best by actually using it. 2. You can build up positive feedback that will help you make sales as a seller.
Ebay looks deceptively easy but you have to watch out for scams. Shipping also is a challenge and you should familiarize yourself with different methods of shipping and costs.
As to sourcing product, no one will tell you their source, why would they? Tip, if you have any unique outlet stores by you they are a great source - like a pottery barn or abercrombie -NOT the outlets they have all over the country, but in demand stores with ony a couple outlets. |

I would suggest looking through the free ads in papers for cheap stuff, car boot/yard sales/flea markets, charity shops, and even on ebay people sell bulk lots of items, you can search ebay for bulk sales. |

No one is going to give up their source for merchandise because that would create competition for them and lower their sales.
Start with selling crap around your house that you need to get rid of. |
