You can always buy rare things on ebay and resell them. Otherwise check out church bazaars and sales.
Ask your friends and relatives. Tell them you are willing to haul out their old junk for them. It's better than them having to take it to the dump! |

Go to other garage sales!
How about dumps or go around rich peoples neighborhood on garbage day and see what they throw out. Ive done this and found many good items such as the desk my computer is now on and a fabulous old ships wheel. Good Luck searching! |

offer to clean out people attics, and stuffed garages in return for a good portion of the items.
lot of people will be glad to have someone else haul that stuff away and many don't won't to fool around with having their own garage sales or dumping it off at the charities. |

When garage sale is advertised in the paper--and say it rains-too hot or just a slow day to sale . ask the seller if you can buy the lot for a price? That way they make money and you will too, in the long run. I've been to yard sales in the hotter part of the day and asked if i wanted to buy them out.Try it, if you can store the stuff you can't lose. |

Actually, if you find out where the dollar stores buy their junk, you can too. I think they buy large palettes of unknown stuff at auctions and have it shipped to an address.

yeah, try going to lots of yard sales for a couple weeks and buy alot of bargain priced stuff and stock pile it all for your own yard sale but keep track of what you paid and raise your price so you make a profit. also good will stores and thrift stores have stuff really cheap that you might be able to re-sale at a profit. my folks did this kinda stuff one whole summer and did pretty good and it kept them busy and they had alot of fun doing it. oh yeah, and church bizarres have good sales once in awhile too. |

There are several places on the web that sale all kinds of things cheap if you purchase them in bulk. Look up Dollar Days, Dollar store almost any thing with dollar will bring you results. By cheap I mean you can make any where from 100 to 500% profit you just have to buy by the case. Don't forget to check out the shipping prices, so you don't get burned there.
