DON'T do a paper round!! it nearly killed me when i did that....i quit after 6 months!!!yeah try babysitting but i bet thats hard work too, and you need to be very responsible and trustworthy to have parents allow your to care for their baby. Stick to pocket money is my advice...sowwi. |

You could try babysitting or cutting grass to earn a little extra money. |

During vacation season, many pet owners need someone to care/feed/hug their pets while they are away. I have several times paid for trustworthy young adults to do this for my two cats (especially the hugging). If it is a turtle or goldfish, take them into your home. Cats MUST remain at their own home- or they will (try) to go "home" |

Put an ad in the neighborhood laundry, if you live in an apartment building (ask the super first)put an ad in the lobby or laundry room, things like that. Good Luck!
P.S.
VERY IMPORTANT!Get your parents permission first before you put up flyers anywhere. There are alot of weirdos out there, that you wouldn't want answering your ad. |

Legally...good luck. Federal law limits contracting labor to 14 and older. This is also defined as paying someone for a service. Wait the two years. |

Sales... This include paper/magazine or gift/artwork items... Try doing this on commission basis. But you have to know if it is legal in your area |

Well you can't, technically. However babysitting is popular and so if neighborhood help. If they need help cleaning, doing yardwork, groceries, taking care of animals and other things. That is the perfect type of job for a 12 year old. Also getting them involved in the YMCA and what not, that helps to. Maybe like an assisstant or something. It wont pay money but it will help. Truthfully, think like the old tv shows, what did they have their kids do? |
