New mom and would really like a job that I could work from home |

As a new Mom I'm sure you would enjoy what I've been doing as a SAHM for the last 3 years!
I work for call centers as a home agent. I good friend told me about a great message board where other stay at home moms /work at home moms were finding all these call center jobs.
I say the top home agent call centers are:
#1 West at home http://apply.westathome.com/
#2 Working Solutions http://www.workingsolutions.com/
#3 ACD Direct http://www.acddirect.com
and there are many more but to be safe always ask another fellow work at home mom...don't just jump in.
So if you don't mind working while your baby is sleeping...you'll need a good headset, a quiet place, a newer computer w/ xp or vista and be able to enter data ...some lines are a little harder but your trained so don't worry!
I truly think this is the best place to go for a work at home JOB it's real and they take taxes out! I know I tried many things (ebay, mlms, etc) before I heard about West.
The other great thing is you can work just 30 min shifts at a time 24 hours a day on most lines! so you can grab an hour or more or less if you want. It's ok to miss a shift you can trade just don't make it a habit...of course.
You usually take a voice test, read a script then provide a back ground check (not a credit check) and also a computer check is done to make sure you don't have anything that will interfere w/ the applications that will run on your computer while taking calls.
A dedicated land line phone is good w/ no features no call waiting voice mail it will stop the flow of calls! You generally earn more than minimum wage for your state and I've earned as much as $20 per hour for tech support jobs...so if you have the knowledge you can get good money!
Some states are not accepted by some call centers yet but there are plenty others that do. I'm sure you'll be able to find work! Real Work!
rat race gives you a nice list of the call centers
and also workplacelikehome does as well so it's good to go to both! |

You should check out Tupperware. The company is well known and respected and people already know and want the product. Since you're a new mom you can set your own hours and choose how you want to run your business (online, catalogs, home parties, or fundraisers). If you hold 2 parties a week (about 6-8 hrs/wk) your income for the month is just over $1,100. Also, you can start with no out of pocket expense. Check out the links below and see if it looks like something that would work for you. |

Good advice about no upfront costs! In researching hundreds of home business opportunities prior to leaving the workforce, I found very few that did not make me very nervous. There will be people who make a great deal of money but statistics show that most do not. Often those who make money, make it off of those who sign up and fail or from "get started for $ fees". Look for programs where the profit is based on people succeeding not just on joining. I finally went with a company that was totally free. That felt the best to me. I get to make money while supporting a charitable organization. If this interests you at all, please contact me.....I do not make any money when you join for free. If not, I hope you find what you are looking for and that it is everything you imagined it to be. |

I don't know any company that will hire anyone to work out of their home. Unless they are an accountant or a tax person or something in that line. I think your best bet is to start up your own home based business. If you want to stay home with your baby. That's why I got into my home based business.
There are plenty of things to chose from. From the telecommunications industry, to child daycare, to health etc. I don't know what your interest are, so I'm not sure what direction to point you out in. I created a blog on my 360 page, your more then welcome to take a look at some ideas.
If you find one you like, contact the person who wrote the comment on my blog.
Other than that, there really isn't anything out there that's going to make a sufficient amount of income for you. |

I was looking for something like this myself a few months back and I found it. It's not a get rich quick scheme, it's not an MLM or pyramid scheme. It's a way to make a few hundred to over a thousand extra dollars a month from home. Best of all you don't need to pay me for anything.
If you're interested feel free to check it out at http://www.projectpayday.com/go/912767
Whether you do or not, I wish you well! |

Try some online jobs, where you don’t have to pay upfront money. Online data entry is an excellent career to consider if you want to work at home. The equipment needed for this type of job is very minimal. You only need a computer with an Internet connection, a table and a comfortable chair. Data entry duties include the inputting of correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets into a home computer and then transmitting that data using the Internet. Work at home data entry personnel may also proofread text, edit information, and maintain databases. Data entry jobs usually offer flexible scheduling, allowing people to work when they want to and as little or as much as they want to. Some of the growing fields for work at home data entry include medical and legal transcription, medical coding and litigation coding.
This type of work is becoming so popular that many fraudulent websites have emerged offering data entry jobs, which promise huge profits. The best way to find a legitimate data entry job is visit a reputable career website. You are more likely to find a genuine work at home job using these websites.
There are several freelance websites that post freelance data entry jobs. Avoid responding to ads that do not list a company name or contact information. There are many reputable freelance work forums that can provide you with work at home data entry job listings. The forums are usually free to join and provide trustworthy information. Once you have found an advertisement for a work at home data entry job, check out the company by visiting their website. You can also do an online search using the company name and visit the Better Business Bureau website to see if they have been listed as a fraudulent company.

An excellent source for finding a legitimate home-based business is to check out Direct Selling Association (DSA) at http://www.dsa.org. DSA is the national trade association of the leading firms that manufacture and distribute goods and services sold directly to consumers.
My advice is to go where the money is and that is travel. Travel is a $7.1 billion industry and growing every day. A Baby Boomer is retiring every 8 seconds and the first thing they want to do is travel. The average family in the United States spends $4,200 annually on travel. This is why my wife and I started our own online travel business. We’ve looked for years for a home based business and this is the first thing that made sense to us. The best part is that it sells itself. All you have to do is tell people about it. The industry commissions are already built in. You can also learn to save thousands on your taxes and travel wholesale instead of retail. The company that we work through is publicly traded, SEC regulated, has a $6,000 guarantee, and even offers health insurance. They even send their top agents on a cruise to the Bahamas. No one else does this. We love this business! |
