federal catalog for domestic assistance, but grants for most businesses are few and far between unless you're a non-profit. the grants are for very specific programs, and many of them are for governments. but that website is the total list of the government's grants.

Contrary to what people think grants are NOT available for personal use, such as a new business. You're on your own.
Too many late night tv programs promote it, no one is giving money to the public.
Money is available for development of rural areas of the country, building nursing homes, housing development, hospitals, etc., to make life more comfortable in those parts of the USA., that lack decent roads, etc.
