Grocery store is good, theme park is good, secretary/receptionist gig rocks if you can land one. I work as a part-time receptionist at the Student Organizations office at my college, and I'm 98% sure I'll be doing the same thing full-time in the Parking office this summer. You get to see people and do some problem solving, and the rest of the time you're free to read or surf the internet or do basically whatever you want. |

I worked at a nice restaurant when I was 16. I started out as a hostess then when I had worked there for a while I became a waitress and made over $200 a night. They were really good about letting me work what days I wanted.
My brother worked at a car wash. It was a neat job b/c he got tipped big time. They worked well with his schedule too.
My boyfriend (I knew him in HS) worked at an Albertson's as a bagger and made pretty good money. The grocery store here is paying nearly $8 an hour for baggers, which is pretty darn good considering min-wage at that time was $5.25.
I always thought that Sonic looked like a fun place to work, if they have those in your area. My friend worked there and loved it. |

Six Flags is a cool place to work and they hire anyone. Go to sixflagsjobs.com. Since you are sixteen, you can do anything, even operate the rides. People do throw up a lot though! Good Luck!!!!! |
