if its a lot of money purchase certificates of insurance the insurance company sells them as retirement annuities but some are liquid and can be used as cash for a loan at a bank the face value of the annuity is on it and it can be confirmed on the phone so anywhere in the world you can get a credit line from them also you can buy travelers checks and pay a fee and place them in a bank in a vault in the lock box for a fee or just stash cash in an envelope into the box at a bank a short term way to hide money is to mail a money order to your own mail box at the post office make it out to your self and just mail the insured letter to your box every few weeks or days ,, talk to ,, an investment counselor or a lawyer ,, for a small fee a lawyer can place your money in a trust account for a time and areason you can use an escrow account at a bank tell them your saving for a down payment on a house and tuck money in till it reaches the goal set up in the statement and use the banker as a party to the account so they have to sign to remove it safe huh or buy a gun safe and bolt it to the floor joists they sell them at sams and bj's clubs and sporting goods stores cash on hand no records but yours and home owners and or renters insurance covers a certain amount if kept in the home or safe smaller security and fire safes are on sale |

It all depends on how much money your storing and how long you plan on keeping it. If you plan on keeping a little for the short term buy a cash box from walmart for 12 bucks on the other if your looking for top of the line security buy an actual safe which ranges from 120-600 bucks depending on the features and size. A good safe will run about $245 |
