McDonald's appeal to people of all ages, so I think it is a better business. Starbucks usually caters to people on the go, aside from the fact that their coffee is somewhat expensive. |

McDonalds wins this because they sell something that does not have taste, and people without taste are in the majority. There are less people who really want some überhip blend of coffee than people who want a fat burger. And they have a clown, ofcourse. |

Depends on what you mean?
Mac Donald's have established site throughout the world. So, to sell the franchise of individual an Mac Donald's, that would be easy if you were to sell it. Starbucks would be easy as well, however, building a new Starbucks in a new location would be better than taking over an established location.
If you were to ask which sells more product, well I give it to Mac Donald's. Burgers and fries that are made the same way are easier and faster to produce than a special order double expresso mocha latte. |
