deanna c is correct about the survey and clicking links and stuff. I do surveys and paid emails, but only for the fun of it and letting the marketing companies know what my opinions are. You don't make money a whole lot of money. So if your looking for surveys to do for the income of it, don't do it. You can make some money and free prizes, but you won't make a whole lot. So much to the survey things as to why, if you'd like more details on this email me and I'll be happy to share my experiences as well as many others. Like I said, their fun and if it's for the priniciple of the matter, then do it, if your looking to make a living, you 'll be disappointed. If you'd like some links I'd be happy to share them with you.
Your best bet if you want to work from home to help your father out from his surgery, is by starting your own home based business. Most home based business cost under $500. Some cost more depending on what it is you want to do. Most home based businesses have training programs to teach you the trade and help you get started. I don't know what you like to do, so I can only tell you what my husband and I started over six years ago and point you out to some others to take a look at. Ours well supports our family of six (we have four children). Home based businesses are very profitable.
I also created a blog on my 360 page on home based business's. There's over half a dozen different ones to take a look at. Your more then welcome to browse through them. If you find one that's interesting, contact the person who wrote it and they can point you out in the right direction.

I made a yahoo page showing survey companies I use, there are only about 5 on the page so far...that is all that have paid me lol. Forgot to put one on there called Baker St. Solutions. Prob is the only pay by Amazon gift certificates. They only send out about 2 surveys a month woth anywhere from $5-$25 Amazon gift cards. But check out my site and good luck!

If you're interested in earning money by completing surveys, be wary of the hype you'll find on sites trying to sell you a directory of survey sites. Unless you are a high flying executive of a multi-national company you won't be earning more than around $100-$200 a month on a regular basis just from online surveys so it should only be considered extra income rather than your only source of income.
You should never pay to get involved in this sort of work, There are many excellent free survey directories - I use http://www.whichsurveys.com - which list hundreds of survey sites, sorted geographically, and with a paragraph or two about each company, including payment terms. The best directory will offer tips and advice for getting started and making the most of this opportunity. |
