Wow talk about people ripping people off,Ebay goods have got high start prices now and the postage is out of this world,Are we sending parcels to the moon now as it seems we are with those prices,Has anyone noticed?,Everything that happens to save people money,Always seems to get out of hand.

Hey the bargains are still there, just not around this time of year.
My top tips for getting a bargain are: -
1. Search only the "buy it now"s and jump straight to the last page. Here you find all the cool offers that not everyone has seen yet (most people just look at what is ending in the next few hours).
2. Check ebay at really stupid hours (3am etc). Avoid bidding on things which end during peak hours as they recieve the most bids. Items ending in the middle of the night generally have the least interest. (AVOID SUNDAYS).
3. Check for spelling mistakes. For example if you are looking for a Nintendo Wii do a search for "Wi" or "Wiii". Items listed incorrectly will have very little (if any) people looking at them.

Because they know people will pay it if they want the item so much
I refuse to buy anything from a seller with over inflated postage charges
You can address this by filling out the star thing and ebay have now taken action against this by introducing if the star sysytem is low their listings remain at the bottom |

It is a free market economy.
If it is too expensive and no one buys, then prices drop.
Postage + Bid price = What you are willing to pay
It is not compulsory you don't have to use it! |

i recently sold three things on ebay - my first time ever. I calculated the postage from the royal mail site, & went with the exact price it said. When i mentioned it to a mate, & she said,
'What?? Didn't you know you're meant to sting the customer with the postage? that's how ebay works. That's how you make your money!'
I thought that was stupid - buyers can check the postage cost themselves & see if you're being greedy or not, surely??! |
