Nothing is fair in life sometimes that why we have to find other alternatives. And I have one for you, go to ebay they have a free advertising site called Kijiji get the one nearest to your location and start selling those candles. good luck |

Because if everyone did it, then this wouldn't be the type of forum for questions and answers to attract people who have legitimate questions and meaningful answers.
Pay for your advertisements. It's a business you own, right? You reinvest your profits back into your business. Besides, any investment is a tax write off until it gets off the ground. |

I agree with you. When people are outright asking for specific businesses, you should be able to answer them.
I am always amazed at the tattle-tale type attitude in these forums, I think it's because they see you as competition.
I don't know why people can't just ignore those questions and go onto ones they are interested in, I think it's quite childish myself. |

I don't know either. I got a warning one time, when I promoted my business. They sent me warning notice.
I think there are some people are jealous and reported it as abused. |

There are a lot of websites you can promote you're business: www.e-burza.hr, google...
Some of the websites and forums have strict policy on this.

Most forums have a section where you can advertise your business. Yahoo chooses not to, I would guess, because of the amount of non-legitimate businesses that would take advantage.
In reality though, as you are going through the forum and answering questions you are helping others find your site through your signature.
Just be sure and keep any blatant advertising out of the answer. I have a friend who was denied access to this forum, because of one of his questions sounding too much like an ad for his business. He didn't get a warning. You can put your links as part of you answer. At least I have never been told otherwise. |
