It is all about quality..why it is not possible for indian's to compete the quality that China produce....we have labor market almost as big as there is and we also need economic balance in our country....don't you think?

interesting....Chinese sends best quality products to US...probebly because they make more money and they invest more for a better product but that is not the case with what they send to india. |

Most of above answers don't touch the point.
1.Chinses products are not so reliable as you mentioned, you may experince it as you buy at the very low prices.
2. You can buy good quality products from China at reasonable price not the lowest price. as you can find many brand products are in fact from China.
3. China spent many years to get to today's performance, it need money, equipment,market, policy and Time , Indian also need some time to develop, just like USA, they developed for a long time.

China are able to produce, manufacture at very low cost..
Matter of money, cost, not quality tho...soo many people need to work there,, working for peanuts..and possible less or none syndicated..
If in our countries such as canada and usa,, would be able to work without UNiions or syndicates,,,able to talk and make arrangement with manufacturer's owners,,,we would keep and the employements , works and money in our own country....
North and other countries having syndicates having to pay those people .cost a lot to have them to negociate for workers..It's absolutely redicule..this is the mob , craps having license to get money from people that way..
Your syndicate , paying the syndicat and all other deduction from your paycheck...it's like , more you eat sausages, more it's produce, more its produce, and go around and around..
the employers are oblige to increase salaries,, so the cost of products they manufacture to put on market..people having higher salary but giving more to governements and to syndicate,,,and than : compagnies, manufacturers cannot afford that anymore this scam approuved by our governments because for government its sooooooo good ..they took our money before even we get it...and : suddently you hear, this company is closing doors or moving in China., THAN WE ARE WONDERING WHY WE CANNOT PRODUCE, MANUFACTURE HERE THOSE PRODUCTS...GEEEEEEEEEEE this is a reason why I stop to work completely and stay home to watch tv..instead to work for only government .........I let other working for me and get my pension....thanks to everyone, ...........because what ever you do...here, the money go first to gorvernment and if left a bit, than you can get your little change pocket at the end of the week...WE ARE SLAVE OF OUR GOVERNMENTS IN OUR OWN COUNTRY,,,you understand now........................................ |

Chinese products are known for cheap price and not for quality. Their selling advantage is low price. Why Indians can't do it is all together a big question in itself. By the way the cheap price is because labor in China is a lot cheaper then in India. |

USA has the capability to produce very high quality products.
The problem/catch is the higher standard of living everyone has in the USA, as well as the overhead cost of employee benefits, medical insurance, vacations, even the office space and don't forget our EPA controls versus those in China and India. The USA as a result has a higher cost of production than either of the others.
BTW Vietnam is the next manufacturing country that will compete with China and India. |

If India is serious about making better products than China, Americans would line up to buy them. We are inundated with inferior products we could make ourself, but prefer to buy the cheapest.
For myself, I would rather pay more for a quality product.
China products are known here as cheap and unreliable.
I bought a can-opener made in China that never opened one can, and other products that worked once or twice before they broke.
So I hope for better products. |

well i think the indian quality is better than china , but the only diffrence is of price. In india we have to pay more to the workers and also suffer due to the strikes,etc. which is not at all possible in china |

Better and cheaper are two different things.
Most companies in China are owned by the government. The quality is not that great, but because the are government subsidized, they can produce the items much cheaper. |

well it depends what you mean as good because in a way they aren't so great because they have so much led on them that it could possibly kill you if you licked or put it in your mouth |
