because it isn't your thing. you need to find something you enjoy.
i hated being a librarian assistant so i quit after i started babysitting and i stuck with it because it was my thing.
if you cant and bored see what is appropriate for the kids from the parents and make games or go to the parks or walks on a jogging strip if you have one in the area. make field trips to places that are free. just try to make it more than just watching the kids. |

You are an active person, you have limited advantages when comes to children as they do not have the capacity to do the things adults can do and would do. You feel limited and so you feel bored. You can't express and share stuff with the kids/baby like you do with your friends. It's not the same like any other job. One must be willing to lower oneself to the level of the child at whatever the age is. It is a skill and only meaningful when you wish to put your own interest aside and put the child interest first. In this way you find babysitting pleasant because you see the child responds to your way of communication be it educational or just bonding. |

Nope. You just have to make it fun. Do fun things with the kids bond with them find out what they like do fun crafts or games or take them outside somewhere. It should be fun then =] |

I love babysitting.
I currently babysit 3 kids, one is 4, one is 7, one is gonna be 10. They are amazing.
I watch them on Mondays and whenever the lady needs me on weekends. Every monday I make 30 dollars babysitting from 8:00 p.m. until they go to bed at 9:00 p.m. Easyyyy money hun.
And if they're rich, like my peeps are, then you can just totally pig out, and do whatever. It helps if you take a friend along. Except for the fact that they always want you to split the cash 50/50.
Also, if the kids are young enough, you can con them into anything. =] |

Because you are at someone else's house and you are afraid of meddling around on the computer or aren't allowed to use it. They have no digital cable or satellite. && no good junk food : ) The kids are annoying or no fun. and you get paid very very little. That's why! |

it depends on who you babysit, and
it usually gets better as you do it and keep reminding your self you'll get paid!
some times when you babysit your always stuck thinking what you could have been doing better than watching kids |

Are you kidding me? Babysitting is awesome. Sounds like you're just doing it for the wrong family. What could be boring about:
1) Going to a nicer house than yours with better food.
2) Pigging out on the better food.
3) Hanging out with their kickass children.
4) Playing video games and watching movies the whole time.
5) Getting paid for all of it. |
