Restaurants are the worst businesses to start. The first year failure rate is 90%.

If it was easy then everyone would do it. You have to continue trying and trying. As JFK once said: we do things because they are hard, not because they are easy.
Keep going

A lot of new restaurants dont make it past the first year because the quality of food they serve isnt up to scratch and the price is too high and the hygiene in the kitchen stinks.
The only way you would get a financial backer that isnt the bank is to have the very best of references.
And to get these references you would have to have years of expeirence in running the kitchen in a top restaurant or hotel.
The veriety of food served goes beyond pasta. and burgers depending on the type of restaurant it is.
Location is important and a solid business plan is also needed and you will have to have a certain amout of cash of your own.
And this is just a small part of opening up a restaurant.

Its a competative business to get into and there is alot of compitition it is a high risk investment it also depends on where the business is what type of reastraunt how much you are looking for how much equity you are going to give away there are so many factors that come into play.

Get a McDonalds franchise, they will sort it all out for you.
You are sure of clients and not much chance of going bust,[unless you are really hopeless]
Going it alone in any business is not so easy as it seems.
Staff are expensive [if they are any good] who wants to work for the minimum wage till late at night.
I have been in business for years and my biggest mistake was a fish and chip shop and restaurant.. The only business that has LOST me money. It was in the high street, always plenty of customers, I just could not cover costs.

This is a problem I am running into. I have a candle busijess and I am also looking for an investor. Look online for (Private) investors in your area. Banks are stingy when it comes to investing. Make sure you have your plan of action detailed otherwise theres no chance you'll be exepted.

Nine out of ten restaurants fail in the first year for one thing or another. Get the backing of one or two state congresspersons or a state sentator and you will be on your way. In my opinion.

It is hard men i feel ya it's ok be confident

Restaurants are a "dime a dozen". Not many open these days that do more then pay the bills and wages. They are a poor return for investors.

It's 'hard TO get' not 'hard too get'. A good grasp of the English language always impresses prospective investors.
