Will anyone take my textbooks I cannot sell?
I have 7 textbooks that are old editions and are worth nothing, but I feel really bad about throwing them out. Is there a company or just people online that will take these books off my hands, where they could possibly use them? I don't even care to make money off of them at this point. I just don't want to throw them out becuase they are in great condition.
Have you tried amazon.com to sell them , or half.com , ebay.com ?
Grace
Some schools/classes may still use them... Uhm! you can either try and sell them on ebay or one of the book stores buys used books... try barnes and noble or borders even try books a million... If neither of those work give them to the local good will and get a receipt for a tax write off. Good luck

donate them to your local library

If the library won't take them - and they probably won't - try donating them to a shelter - they are always looking for reading material for children and adults. Or try the county jail.

Many charity programs take used books, even if they are old. When I couldn't do anything with my books I gave them to an institute with adult education and after school tutoring for immigrants. Though they may not be up to date, they were happy to have them since they didn't have that much advanced reading material. Even if the textbooks are old, they still have educational value, and that is what is important. I would suggest finding some sort of educational charity in you area and offering your books to them.

give it to charity.
