Will you join me in saving our world? I have a well worked out plan, and enough money to get things started.?

The plan is to buy up the land and plant trees on it. Also to grow food, collectively. And to run businesses to benefit the members and the paying public. I have bought a quarter acre industrial site and six and a quarter acres agricultural land as well as a few houses and shops and so on to get things started. I started with nothing, my father left me a little, but I've built up the rest myself, and now I'm able to start helping others. I'm no Bill Gates, but together we can become richer than Bill, and we can do more good than he can. It takes willing hands and minds, not just money. 1. Why would this business model save the world? Planting trees alone is not a new idea and in it's own will not save the world. How about the carbon footprint ANY business operation produces?

2. What sort of business do you see being operated, and what will make them competitive so people buy from them and no longer from traditional places?

No, I think I'll leave that to God. He made the world, He can save it if he wants it to be saved. If he doesn't no amount of money can save the world. It's supposed to end one day any how.
If you can help others , that's great, but it's not saving the world.

I have thought about this long and hard. Not your offer, but on my own. There are many people already doing or trying to do what you are. You don't sound like you have a head for business or figuring out how to make more money. You want to save the earth, but there are kids in your neighborhood who go to bed hungry or would be happy with a pair of shoes that fits or parents who aren't arguing night and day (and it gets a lot worse) but you want to save the Earth... how much do you think you can do against the odds of the destruction? Like... electric coal burning plants, carbon emissions, etc when you study demographics how many people have the same concerns as you statistically speaking. They are the people you need to find. And as for living off the land you might save the air in the local area, air space a few acres, but reality is, the more money you make, the more you can do to save the earth, so I would sell the land, put some money in currency trading, try to get into big money, like finance or inventions (like electric car, mainstream with Mercedes or Jag)... or do something to make more money so you can think things through. Do your research, is it really going to save the earth trying to convert normal people to live as you suggest (if you are as wise as you'd like to think) you already know you shouldn't try to change people over night or shove your views down your throat forcing resentment, ill will and no results.. than to figure out... HEY IF I TEACH THESE PEOPLE, EVEN THE WHOLE WORLD, how to shut the water off when they brush their teeth it will save how many polar bears and ice caps? The economy is not so great, and people are living hand to mouth, so this is their last concern. Show people how their choices affect the world.

I have an idea, if you want to save the earth. Then buy a bunch of Gores movie... about Global Warming, what is it called? And the new movie planet earth.. and distribute them locally... and get a group together, maybe eventually youwill meet so many people working off your good will that you will get connections, and then get paid to talk, and teach all over the world and become revered for your talent. Most people can't afford to not work but you sound like you can afford to just follow The Secret, and do what I said, and by the time the money runs out you'll be making more, (travel expenses, free talks, giving DVD to the schools and neighbors, the whole town or more)... just pick a focus, where do you see the most promise, with your neighbors the old people or the kids in the schools or both depending on your resources. Sell the land for now... get over it, that is old thinking. Do what I said and see the difference for real.
