Bask in the fact that you will be leaving to pursue a better occupation. In the mean time, have the upper hand, treat people better than they treat you. Make them realize what an asset to the company you are. It would be favorable to maintain healthy relations all around considering you might want to use your present employer/clients/colleagues as a reference to a new position elsewhere. Chin up and don't burn bridges. Good luck with your future endeavors. |

i totally understand..i am in the same situation..but also i am looking to make a career change..to nursing..but first i am going to find me a new job where i can stay for another 2 years or so and go to school...do the same...i agree with someone else its only teporary you will find another..you are bette than that job..stay positive always and strive to dobetter always...good luck |

Just keep strong and remember that this job is not what you are. You are a good person and worth alot more than this job. You will have your dream job. You will find a better job. This job is just paying the bills in the mean time.

You sound like you may be a Receptionist.
I was one less than a year ago, and I hightailed out of there!
They gave me no respect, no thank you, no help. It could get very overwhelming.
Try smiling everytime you think of the stress and stuff, because you know you'll be free soon.
Take it easy on yourself, don't be bitter otherwise you'll get depressed.

Get to work looking for a new job. This is a great job market, employers are having a horrible time finding qualified people to fill positions right now. Also its much easier to find a new job when you are working as opposed to being unemployed.
Also you might want to think about going back to school for your bachelors. An Associates Degree on a resume really doesnt mean much nor does it open many doors. |
