How many of these advertisements can you really trust? I recently sent in an application and $$ for what sounded like a great opportunity to work from home. It's been 2 days-now and I've heard nothing from the company. Am I over-anxious - or have I been scammed. Anybody else out there had any SUCCESS with this sort of thing????? |

some suggestions of on line work which will be scams......before considering any on line job
take note of the following precautionary advice :-
Get onto a Search Engine eg. http://yahoo.com and type in the search text box (Note use double quotes) “is (such and such URL) a scam”. If you get some results, click on a few of them to see what people are saying about the business. If a lot of the comments are bad then it is a warning sign to stay away from that work at home site.
Remember
1. Some people are very petty, so you must consider the statements made before listing the company as bad.
2. Some do not read the fine print when signing up or do not fully understand the concept therefore when a problem arises they complain loud and long.
3. Many of these companies have hundred of thousands of clients but have only a few complaints.
4. Make considered judgements.
Always check on line jobs with the databases at http://onlineworkassistant.tk/
and, any other data bases of this type you can find, or Home Business forums before even considering any on line job:-

Sending an application with a fee is the start of sounding like a scam.... especially if we are talking about a JOB like data entry, envelope stuffing, etc. If you are looking for a JOB being a 'virtual rep', ask yourself this question.... If I applied at Wal-Mart, would they ask me for a fee to work for them?
If you had to mail it, then possibility is that it has not arrived.
I hope it was not a lot that you sent because I do not get a good feeling. If you want to email me more information on who it was... ie, company name, etc. - you can contact me through my profile.
I truly hope it is legit, but my gut says probably not.

I've done the same thing and did not make any real money. I've tried the surveys and takes so much time out of your day to complete surveys and earn 3 cents per survey. That's why I decided to look for a legitimate home-based business and become a home-based travel agent.

Sounds like you may have been scammed. You should never have to send in money and an application. It doesn't make sense. If you were going to work for yourself, as in a home business and you paid a fee, that is different. If you are still looking for a legitimate way to work from home, maybe this is for you. yes, I have been with company for about 1 1/2. And it is all I do full time as it covers my expenses of around 3 grand a month. There is no "easy" way. No one going to give you money for nothing in return "a little elbow grease" check out this website and see if its for you.

Your best bet is to start your own internet business without buying a program to do it. you can find all the information you will need to get started online but most people charge for this information. I'm sorry to say you have most likely been scammed. Sorry you had to learn the hard way. First, never, ever pay to get a job! Legitimate companies will not charge you to work for them. Finding these companies can be an overwhelming task, but I have a good resource for you.... http://www.workathomedesk.com is a free site that has an excellent directory of companies that hire home workers and also has frequently updated job leads. The only expenses you should have to work from home are high speed internet and equipment like a headset. Hope this helps. Good luck. |
