Well, the only type of income your going to make from a home job is minimum wage. After taxes are taken out your take home becomes below minimum wage. If you need more then that, then I suggest you look into home based business opportunities. You have the same income as a traditional business without all the over head expenses. What you make, is what you do with your business.
I know of a really good article on home based jobs. It talkes about a couple different places where you can go and apply. You might want to take a look at the article and see if you can do what they employers are asking. It also has information on home based businesses incase that's the route your wanting to go. It's up to you.
I know quite a few people who have home jobs, as well as quite a few people who have home based businesses. From personal experience as well as seeing people I know, having an online business I think would be best for you. It has a better income opportunity for you. But if you want something solid and you don't have to build up, then a minimum wage home based job online would be what you would want. |

I would suggest going to garage sales and yard sales on the weekend and selling the stuff on eBay. I make decent money doing this. I'm not going to lie and say i make like a 1000 a weekend or anything. But I usually make at least $50-$150 a weekend. Just depends on what you find. If you are interested in trying this, I wrote a book that has examples and tips in it to get you started. http://www.garage-sale-items.com

The best way to make sure you're not being scammed is to look into the company inside out and backwards. Take the time to do your homework and really research the organization's history. Check to see if they are a member of the Better Business Bureau and determine what their reputation is like.
I have my own home-based business that took very little to start up, and I used a reputable, long-standing company to do so. Now I no longer just make money, but earn tax write-offs too!

You should have a read of the articles on this website, it will help you with the searching and also how to avoid scams but you're unlikely to get the names of any genuine companies in the replies here as there is no shortage of people looking to do work at home and data entry jobs. |

The work from home jobs that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build - so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn't true ( and those that are true sure didn't make that kind of money when they first began ).

I have other ideas that may help - one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself - try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don't have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc - they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work.
