Working at Home questions?
Hello everyone. I had a question about working at home. I currently have a full time job but want to make some extra money working at home. I was looking around and there seems to be some opportunities but I don't know if they are legit. Can anyone who is actually working at home making money let me know of some real opportunities. I had a bad experience once with letter mailing, etc. However, recently, I saw one regarding doing surveys and getting paid for it. Is this legit? It seems way to good to be true. I really need help guys and I would appreciate anyone's input. Thanks!

I tried the surveys thing, more hassle than it is worth. I had so much spyware put on my computer by visiting those sites. I have been doing something part time at home. You make money at it, but you have to apply yourself (not get rich quick for nothing). If interested contact me.

No, almost all of these are not legit.

yea, there are alot of scams out there, I've been one of them. and yes, i too lost a few bucks trying to make some money. I'm not trying to get anybody rich, just trying to prove there are some good ones out there. i too, have a website, but my website has one page, doen't ask for your information, it just tells you what I've been through, what I've seen, and what my main purpose is. and I even list a few websites for you not to go to. http://www.devorium.net/free again, i don't care about getting your information, i wouldn't even know what to do with it even if i could. all i know is i'm trying to help people see the internet as a better tool than most people see it as already.

It's true most at home jobs take some investment or it's something you would 'enjoy' - nothing is 'free' and most of the survey sites - take time and little $.
There is a magazine success from home that is helpful with real stories and ideas - (you can buy it a book store)
your best bet is sticking to something you are good at or that you enjoy and there is a general need for among your friends, family or co-workers.

bottom line is if you want to make extra money use the skills you already have,do not use any of those on line schemes to generate funds.

and in your post you stated "it seems way to good to be true" that should raise flags and beware of folks on answers posting links to sites, you don't know these folks.

i been around online for quite some time. if you need what think about most of the online opportunity then go to my profile and check out my online biz site. read the guideline section. most people don't realize it. go there if you really want to save your precious time and money.

Hi Richard,

I know that there will be plenty of posts from people who got burned from home based business scams and many will be reluctant to go to a website to check it out.

But, if you're asking the question, here is the answer....
There ARE legitimate home based business opportunities out there !

If you are interested in Network marketing, you may want to check out a legitimate home based business that focuses on building a business based on books, self-improvement, and a culture of charity.

The founders are Robert Allen (Multiple Streams of Income) and Richard Paul Evans (The 5 Lessons a Millionaire Taught Me)

It doesn't get more legit than that.

This is not a get rich quick scheme by any means.

There is extensive company and team training, so you will learn how to build this business the right way.

It is a dynamic, rapidly growing company. But, it is network marketing and you have to build the business. But, it is a great product, great people and fun.

Make sure to exercise due diligence when you are researching any home based business opportunity.

Also, try to find a product or service that you are passionate about. It makes it much easier to be motivated...and if you are motivated you stand a better chance at being successful.

If you choose a Network Marketing company, make sure they have a money back guarantee, have a great marketing system and provide plenty of support and training.

Try to get in on a company opportunity or training call to see what the business is all about and the type of individuals who are running the business.

Contact me through my profile if you are interested in additional information.

Good luck in your work at home search.

If it seems too good to be true, then it more than likely is. In my honest opinion, online surveys are a waste of time. Few of them actually pay for services rendered. Most of them supply you with merchandise or vouchers.

There are a few legitimate companies who hire at-home workers. Some seemingly legit. companies are listed within this site: http://www.ewomanweb.com
Just remember, you should never pay to "work" and there are many, many scams.

If you have a service to offer, I recommend you do that as a home business - just make sure you enjoy what you do.

Many people these days are making money online with paid surveys. I have found that these paid surveys are especially suitable for students. Since many students are living with a tight<!--budget the several hundred dollars that can be made monthly is a big help and the flexibility of taking paid surveys online is a big plus for students as well. To join these companies, you dont need a credit card and the best part is that you dont need to pay anything. Its free.

http://surveyadventure.awardspace.com/

These are three of the top reasons that paid surveys are so well suited to students. Students spend a good-->part of their time online already. Paid survey sites place a premium on users between the ages of 13-25 3. Most students can benefit from the extra money earned with paid surveys
