Working from home - what does the filling of envelopes actually entail? is it a con?
We've been asked to send £25.00 to receive an information pack (returnable on receipt of ou r first batch of 25 envelopes).
What will we be expected to fill the envelopes with? Has anyone actually done this and is it a scam? Thanks

Dana Port
I've tried it and it was a scam for me. They mailed me a whole bunch of papers to be put in the envelopes but didn't supply stamps! so I would have to buy the stamps for all those envelopes. It was ridiculous. And with the one I did, I would only get paid if the person receiving the envelop buys the product! It's definitely NOT worth it!!!!!

unless you do thousands (ie spend all day every day doing it) it is a cheap rubbish wage

I think if a job asks you to send money to receive something etc just so you can work for them, it's a scam really.

I was fed up of being scammed so have set up my own work from home business, maybe you could take a look, it might be suitable for you, I wanted to be able to stay at home with my children so it fits in perfectly. Take a look at my website and if you email me I will ring you back and have a chat. This is a genuine opportunity to make some money and work around the kids and house. http://jandapartyplan.co.uk

No I haven't but over the years I've heard this old scam involves you sending requests (envelopes) to others asking for $25 dollars for you to send them envelopes. And so on . .

G!
Check out my website:
http://www.gjobadvice.co.uk
and look in the homeworking section

In this site, I have dedicated a whole paragraph to explain how the scam acctually works.

There is no Work at home that is legit, so save yourself the trouble.

Not good, lots of envelopes to send for a very small return

DevilsAdvocate
Yeah, it's a scam. They'll probably instruct you to place classified ads, inviting people to send $25 for the same information they sent you! But unless people respond to your ads, nobody pays your anything.
