cotton is the fabric of my life, so yes I would |

I already have six of them. Not personalized of course, but, yes I would do that.
I think we all have to do what we can for the enviroment and that's one small way to start.
I keep them in the trunk of my car so I remember to use them when I go shopping. |

I have. The supermarket offered them for 99 cents each. I have about 8 of them, because I have used them for a lot of different things. I get a rebate for each one when I shop. I moved & filled them with my CDs, & my records (yes I still have my old records!) DVDs movies all fit into the bags neatly, they are strong, & easily cleanable.
They are a great bargain, & I like to think about how many paper & plastic bags I have not used since I got them.
They are shaped like the paper bags but bigger. They are recycled plastics, & have two strong handles on each side of differnt lengths. Easy to carry, & they hold lots!
I will still use the supermarkets plastic bags to seperate meats & veggies, & messy stuff, but they still go in my "green" bags, & I am still using much less! |

yes i would and the colour does not matter, as i have got about 12 reusable bags from different shops |

I would buy reusable bags ONLY if they were super cheap and about as big as a large flat bottomed paper bag. Once you start adding options and decorations, the prices would be so high nobody would touch them. |

We just did from Lowe's 5 of em
3 will fit in your shopping cart filling the whole cart up
and as you go through the grocery store you put each item in its own bag
and at the check out they go back in the same bag
and at home you get to carry in only three humungus bags |

I would probally buy one to check it out, but chances are I would forget all about using it, once I went to do my grocery shopping'. |

Probably not cotton ones... unless they were very very thick. I have some burlap ones I made and those are nice and sturdy. I really don't care about images on them... they're grocery bags. |

I have purchased the reusable bags for groceries and for general shopping. It doesn't matter to me if they are unique or not. |

No, I would not pay money for a grocery bag when the supermarkets already provide them for free. |

Absolutely if the price is right! I bought those boring drab ones at Publix, I bought the slightly better designed but still boring ones at Whole Foods...
I was thinking about buying some plain, washable tote bags and decorating them myself- or letting my children decorate them with reasons why we like to recycle! Cool, huh?
I like your idea... run with it, make a zillion bucks, and build a green (eco) mansion. Okay? |

I bought a green one at publix but always forget to use it...duh |

yes I would! because I hate all those plastic bags. I would rather save the trees and use something else.
I actually have a reusable cotton bag.Its black I got it at Walmart. |

Absolutely. North America is one of the few places left that uses disposable shopping bags. And to have one that you can customize? That would be nice but not necessary. |

Yea,But knowing me, I'd forget it ever time i went to the store |

I don't like the cotton (usually medium weight canvas) bags ... but I LOVE the green acrylic bags with the more open weave. These come in three or four sizes (including one for just one wine bottle) in my area. I now have two ... one 'extra large' and one 'small' and will be getting at least 4-6 of the 'large' bags when I do my grocery shopping until I have at least 15, so I can carry them with me when we go shopping, and won't have to get bags from the store. These acrylic bags are far lighter in weight than the cotton bags, and they stay useably clean longer, and don't have to go into the washer and dryer (just hose them off in the sink, and hang to dry, which is even less wasteful). My husband and I already are extremely 'ecologicial' when we shop, since we shop only ONE TIME every two weeks, and alternate one 'large' shopping with one medium and take a cab home (we take a bus everywhere else) ... and I am actually getting sick and tired of throwing bags away ... but it wasn't until AFTER CHRISTMAS that the stores started offering the acrylic bags at an inexpensive price so I COULD get them for our type of shopping. There is NO WAY I would ever spend over $2 per bag, when we need so many ... but these acrylic bags are frequently 'giveaways' at stores, or cost only 99 cents ... it's part of the new 'think green' movement now, and I am ALL FOR IT! I don't CARE what the bags LOOK LIKE, but their initial cost, and their weight, since we live in a 'third floor walk-up' and must carry our stuff upstairs by ourselves ... and groceries are heavy enough by themselves ... |

of course. I feel that shopping bags are very environmentally unfriendly. |

the unique looks would have to be cool, but then yes. I am one of the ones who has never bought a reusable bag from a store by the way, I know it's a great idea, but since we use the plastic bags for garbage, we recycle them, so I guess I justify it. But a reusable bag that looked really cool is something I would buy. Probably wouldn't use for groceries, but to tote stuff around for sure. good luck! |

Yes and I already have done from M & S. But mainly i just use it to store my knitting in. I always forget to bring it out with me when i go grocery shopping so end up having to use the plastic un-eco friendly bags. do'h |

nope. Too many things spill, sweat, or leak. Plus, I want my meats in a separate bag from my veggies, my cleaning products in yet another bag, and my bread and eggs where I can keep an eye on them. That's too many bags to buy and have to bleach every time I go to the grocer. |
