All people need to make paments into your paypal account is a paypal account of their own and the email address held by paypal.
DO NOT send any other details
If your buyers are not happy then they can go back to paypal and open a dispute, if it is not settled Paypal will reverse the payment from your account.

probably not a good idea! there are a lot of people who try to scam others by sending fake paypal e-mails to get your details so you'd be playing right into their hands! cant you just sell them normally?
?
it would be legal but i don t know how many people would agree to it as it sounds a bit dodgy as people do not like to donate unless it is a reconised charity and also how do we know how good you are at art your pictures could be rubbish (not saying they are just we don t know) it may be worth a try but i think it will just end up costing you money in the long run

dont send ANY bank details anywhere. sell your work through E-bay or get yourself a website.

Why don't you set up an eBay account - then the transactions are secure and safe? Then you can "sell" your artwork. I buy art off eBay all the time. You may have better luck doing it that way, so that everything is legitimate.

No. You can find an image of almost anything on the internet why would people give you money for something they can get for free.
In the US, Unless you have a nonprofit organization legally you are required to pay tax on any income over a certain amount.
oracle
would you do the same for someone else?

This is spam and is probably against your ISP's acceptable user policy.
I really don't care whether it's safe or not: spammers deserve to get ripped off.
Yes, you would be liable for tax. although you could offset expenses such as the portion of your Internet subscription that you use for business.
