1 Million things at $1 , more people have $1 to spend than $1 million |

one thing for a million is much easier and makes far more sense.
My guess is you are getting bored already and just making up questions. =) |

I am seriously hoping that I don't have a million things. That would be a bit intense, ya know?
So I would have to say the one thing. |

It depends on two things: Profit and time.
If I'll make 100K, or 11% profit on a $1M sale of one item, but I'll make $500K, or 100% profit, on a $1M sale of a million $1 items, you'd think it would be obvious to take the half million profit. But if it takes you five years to sell that much small stuff, you're making per year the same as you made in the single transaction. If you can unload all that merchandise in one year, it's a lot more worthwhile.
Profit and the time and effort it takes to make that profit. |

1 thing of course :). Quality over quantity. Selling a million things would be too stressful. |

It all depends on the sale's cycle. If you sell any commodity item the sales cycles are very short. You are guaranteed to make your money back in the short term. Although you might not sell all the inventory which will create cost. There is a lengthy sales cycle with 1 item worth $1,000,000. Although you will avoid inventory cost and you won't see a turnaround for several months. If that is OK with you then you then all indicators point in the direction of 1 item. It is a totally different sales approach. It would also be helpful to know what products you were selling and where. |

Depending on the time it will take me. Let's say it takes me a year so sell the one thing for $1M and one month for the 1M things - then I would definately rather sell the 1M items for $1 |

I'd have to say one thing worth $1 million. It would be too hard to sell a million things. Also, the $1 million object would be a lot rarer, so more people would want to bid on it, if I put it up for bid somewhere. It'd be all rich snobs, but that's fine with me. :) |
