Business owner, because:
- I won't be limited by the amount the employer is willing to pay me. I can earn so much more than the salary being offered
- I control what I want to do, without the hassles of bureaucracy, bosses and co workers telling me what to do
- I am able to pursue my own interests and passions, and direct my business to whatever direction I want. I have all the freedom to chart my own destiny
- I get the utmost satisfaction from my accomplishments, with no boss stealing your ideas or thunder and claiming your achievements for themselves.
- I work on my own time, and dress up however I want (even in pajamas) |

I would much rather have my own business.
Most employers are unfair in one way or another.
The last job I had, I was fired from it because I was injured on the job the first day of training. Not fair.
The job I had before that I quit because the owner of the company was stealing money out of my paycheck to pay for uniform rentals that he was required by law to pay for. Not fair.
In todays economy you'll never be able to get ahead if your working for somebody else. |

i'd rather work for others because it's less responsibility, you work for a specified time, etc.
business owner works 24/7 and has all the responsibilty. all my parents and grandparents were business owners so i decided i didn't want that life of constant working. i am an hourly wage earner so i have more time for other things.
it's up to the person's choice. but i don't want to do the hiring and firing and have to get called at 4am and have to make sure there's enough in the account to make the payroll. |
