textbook answer is yes , you have to file. Who knows, you may be due a refund. |

Depends on how much you made - if your income is over the limit where you are required to file then yes you have to file.
That said, if you don't owe anything and you don't file, the IRS won't come after you for it. They'll just appreciate your donation of your refund to the government.
If you don't owe anything, there is no penalty for filing late. |

Yes. However, if your income is below a certain level you do not have to file. Check with the IRS for the lower income limits.
Even if you are below the low income limit it might be worthwhile to file because you might be owed a refund on any withholding that an employer took out. |

You are a little late for the 2006 taxes. But yes you must file whether you owe or not. If they owe you then they probably won't come after you but then you don't get ur money back. |

Do you want your tax withholdings that they took out of your paychecks? Then file your federal and state taxes. |

YES...if you made money, you have to report it. Check with your local state and government tax preparer for exact details, as I am not an accountant but have worked since I was 16 yrs old and even then I had to file! |

Yes! The IRS will wait till just before seven years (the statute of limitations) and then notify you that you did not file in 2006. You may not have owed anything but there are hundred dollar penalties for each year since and they have other penal charges so then they will demand a couple of thousand dollars. I have been there and done that so file your taxes regardless. |
