Did anyone else file their taxes around Jan 26-27? Mine was accepted last monday, but the IRS website is still showing "will receive deposit by Feb 10". I thought they'd update the site last night with a deposit date, probably Feb 6, Friday. Anyone else getting this message?

I'm starting to see a trend here....hopefully they will get things together. I'd like my money, please. :-) |

The IRS gives themselves a few extra days due to bank processing of direct deposits. They disburse refunds every Friday starting on January 30, 2009. I was supposed to be in the first round of refunds but my deposit date got moved back to the 10th.

We all are in the same boat....my date was feb 3rd, but the IRS told me my return was still being processed. I guess we should have known this would happen after the recession...they don't have to money to pay out these refunds. |

I'm in the same situation as you. My direct deposit date was initially Jan 30. Then the IRS website said Feb 24.
As of this morning, it now says Feb 10
My family received their direct deposits on Wednesday, Jan 28...weird. I wonder what's going on with the IRS this year?? When I called the IRS, the agent said not to pay attention to the Where's My Refund Link or the refund hotline number, because they are not accurate...lol |

I e-file my return on Jan. 23rd and the IRS website stated last Friday direct deposit on Feb 6th. This morning the phone call to the IRS indicated Feb 10th I wish I knew what was going on. I am in need of my funds right away. Good luck! |

they don't update the website til wednesday nights and don't send out direct dep. till thursday nights after midnight....i filed on Jan 18th and mine says now it will be deposited FEB. 24 as well....i am just hoping that is an error....this is ridiculous. |

Don't feel bad about not recieving your refund until later on in the month. But my problem is the IRS told me my check got deposited on January 30 and I still haven't recieved my check. Then they told me that they can't tell me where my money is until Feb. 4. What kind of b/s is that? |
