From what I've read, those checks aren't going to us, they will be to create jobs in bridge building, schools, and roads. I don't think it will be like bush's stimulus checks at all. |

That could change after January 20th. |

At the moment, the only additional amount will be for people who didn't get the full amount based on their 2007 tax return and it will be part of their refund, not a separate check.
There is talk of modifying the withholding tables for a few months, but nothing has passed yet. |

2. Nobody.
If you received less than a full rebate in 2008 you MIGHT qualify for more when you file your 2008 return. There's a Rebate Recovery Credit line on your tax return and a worksheet in the instructions to figure the additional rebate that you qualify for. That's not a 2009 rebate though, just part of the original rebate. |

They don't exist, so nobody is getting one. There is no 2009 stimulus check.
The only people who get anthing are the people who didn't qualify for a stimulus payment last year but qualify based on their 2008 return - they'll get the 2008 stimulus payment as part of their refund when they file this year for 2008 |

There is no 2009 check. The 2008 check did not stimulate the economy as desired because so many people put it in savings instead so there is no point in a second. |
