All I can say is that that is not the way the UK National Lottery works....you buy a ticket either in person or on-line and if your numbers come up it is up to the individual to make a claim....the lottery Organisers, Camelot, do not get in touch with you as there is no way to identify the purchaser.....in fact Millions of pounds remained unclaimed as ticket holders did not get in touch......this unclaimed money is sent to good causes. |

It's definitely a scam; I live someway North of London and our local police are asking people to forward such emails on to them; it may be worthwhile finding a general email contact for the Metropolitan Police and asking if they want the emails passing to them. Failing that, the Trading Standards Department of Croydon London Borough Council may be interested. |

Ignore with a very long barge poll. You cannot win anything you have not entered. I had thick envelope month ago from Spanish Lottery telling me I had won 9.8 million Euro's. I burnt it along with every other envelope or piece of paper which shows any of our addresses from Xmas cards to junk mail. |
