did you have dd of your federal refund,when did you file .if you haven't gotten it b/c your social ends with high numbers but you filed like january or feb do you think it's fair or unfair that you have to wait longer than people who filed later than you and just b/c they social is lower than yours. |

mine ends in 91 and my husbands 02, but i filed with me first so it goes by mine and we filed the first week in Feb and I agree it isn't fair. I have a friend who filed last minute and got her money friday...so not fair. I have chckd the link for status and nothing which makes it more unfair b/c I would at least like to know what is going on. |

I filed Jan 13th (accepted 15th) and ss ends in 45 so we just got scheduled for Fri, but I do agree that the method they are doing it isn't really fair, not just for the people with the highest numbers.
People who waited until the last week to file or normally don't even file are getting theirs ahead of people who filed as soon as they were able and/or file every year.
Kandi I was thinking the same thing about school, my maiden name starts with a W so I was pretty much gauranteed to be at the end of the line ;) horrible flashbacks lol

random chaos? lol is that what the current tax refund setup is? Last I knew the IRS dispersed tax refunds based on when you file and I've never had a problem nor has anyone I know. Nice dramatic touch though, thanks for the laugh. |

I don't think it is unfair they are doing it by SSN...I guess that I can see where you are coming from because you want your money and you filed early...they had to come up with a system fast, and apparently they flet this was most fair.
The DD for people in your group will not start until next week. My number falls in this week and I was not able to use the status link until today without getting an error. It does say that if your rebate has not been processed it will not be able to give you a status. |

well they have to find a method to di ti and ssn is the easiest and best way u just have to be patient i guess, mine is 76 and that website dont show unless it has been processed |
