This list gets posted here pretty regularly. If you would rather live 100 years ago, you could die at 45 instead of 80 and wouldn't have the opportunity to complain on the Internet.

most true except - depending on your definition - the middle class, as such, didn't exist before WWII

prplphnx
I think there is a state disability tax......all this taxes are basically for the politician to have a luxuries life at our (the tax payers) expense. When it comes to paying taxes the middle class are the ones getting the boots stuck up their...lol...well you know how that sentence ends...lol.

You forgot Tax tax...

Yes you are definitely missing something! A suggestion as what to do about it. All these taxes collected and at the same time the illegal United States National Debt approaching 9 Trillion dollars (spelled with a “T”), means that the personal share of that debt for every man, woman and child (per capita) is nearly $28,000.00!

To properly understand that $9,000,000,000,000.00 figure, one may understand what “only” ONE trillion is.

Here is something for, business owners, struggling Mom and Pop operations, private store owners, small business owners, dentists, lawyers, intellectuals and all entrepreneurs –

If you opened your business at the time of Christ and remained open 365 days a year and LOST one million dollars each and every day right up to today, you would still need to remain open another 700 years in order to LOOSE one trillion dollars.

I am pleased to say that I am not a victim of this scam anymore. Taking appropriate legal steps I liberated myself from this fraud. Care to join me? Or are you scared like the rest of them?

While many of those didn't exist 100 years ago, many of the items being taxed didn't exist. And your cute copy from the internet also includes numerous duplications as well as some outright made-up gibberish such as most of the telephone "taxes."

That and a lot of "taxes" that are actually fees, such as the CDL License "tax" that you mention. There is no such "tax" but everyone pays a fee for their drivers license. Ditto for IRS penalties and interest -- those are NOT taxes and are easily avoided by filing and paying on time.

Before you copy and paste something from the Internet or a goofy e-mail, make sure that what you are copying is actually legit, not the (ancient) ramblings of a creative mind. 100 years ago we most certainly DID have a national deficit. In fact, most of the years that the nation has existed it was in debt.
