Am I reading this right?
Will someone go to this site and tell me if I am reading this right? It looks to me like Obama's Plan will increase taxes for those who make 20-50 thousand and McCains will be decreased.

Yes. you are reading it correctly. Obama's Plan will increase taxes,
while McCains will be decreased.

No wonder so many people are confused!

The answer is "no."

Look at the other elements on the Obama and McCain proposals.

The combination yields lower taxes for those in the 20-50K range.

From the same web site: http://www.taxpolicycenter.org/taxtopics/election_issues_matrix.cfm

You will pay through the nose one way or another no matter what they do. A tax cut will be offset by higher inflation due to the increase in the national debt.

The only plan that would benefit anyone would be a reduction of government spending.

Neither has a plan to cut spending. They may promise to cut it, but have no specific suggestions. Continuing McCain's beloved 100-year war is not going to permit any reduction of government expenses which could be funded either with tax increases or bigger deficits.

That's where he will get the money to help big business and pass on a paltry handout to the rest of us. It will give me a chance ot pass on a several hundred billion debt to my grandchildren.

I don't think either candidate is going to do what they say they are going to do, because politicians are all liars, and the president alone is not responsible for making the tax code.

What you are seeing on that chart contradicts most everything I have heard in the media. You have to be careful what sources you trust. It appears your taxes will go up, but is the Brookings Institute reliable?

You are 100% correct. Osama will not renew the Bush tax cuts that BUSH made for the middle class, so in turn, Osama will raise taxes but not renewing the Bush tax cuts. How chicken sh*t is that of Osama. Most people will not ever know it.

American is doomed.
