it depends on your circumstances
how much do you earn, how old are your children etc, does your partner work etc.
even if you are not entitled to HB or CTB you should be entitled to child tax credits if you are not earning much.
go to your jobcentre and ask them, also try the CAB if you don't get anywhere. you can also visit Tax Credit online and see if you can find out there - there is Working Tax Credit as well so if you are on a low wage you should get some help
hope this helps |

Depends on your official income and whether you pay rent or have a mortgage. Fill in the forms and apply, they do both at the same time now, regardless of how hard it is you might be missing out on hundreds per week, (depending on circumstances) |

You may get a little help but not all, better chance if you are getting tax credit. |

It depends on how much your income is, generally speaking you get much less help if you have a partner.
You need to be claiming & receiving child tax credit & working tax credit to stand any hope of getting hsng & cncl tax benefit.
Apply and see after all they can only say no at the worst |

Depends on your income, I'm not entitled to it because my partner works 24 hours, but having 3 kids makes a slight difference. You could try this site: |

It depends on your joint income, You may be able to claim family tax credit. The best thing is to apply you cant lose anything. Phone up your local council or benefits office and ask them to send you a form. You will need proof of earnings etc. Dont be put off by the form and if you cant manage just ask and they will help you fill it in. |

I believe that you can only claim for housing benefit if you are working 16 hours or less per week. Try contacting your local benefits office for more info. Or have a look at the link, this shows eligible and whos not. |

I think it depends on you and your partners earnings versus outgoings |

It is bad enough that all the asylum seekers get benefits, not people who are actually working want benefits too? It's bad enough that we have to pay for all these people...Don't end up on that TV show, "On The Fiddle"! |
