You dont have to have children to claim working tax credit. Whether you will quailify, and how much for, depends on your personal circumstances and income. For example, if this is a joint income or just yours, or if either of you have any disabilities. If you have no children and no disabilities, you or you partner would need to work at least 30 hours per week to qualify. Hope this helps, if you are unsure you should call the helpline and they can do a calculation for you to see what you may be entitled to, thanks |

I spoke to the tax office earlier this year and anyone can apply but if you earn more than the amount they specify (which i think is about £11k) you may have to repay them. I think it is different if you have kids - i dont. |

You have work combined a minimum of 30 hours per week and have a household income of less than £15k, (that's both yours and your partners income combined) and both of you have to be over 25yrs old, be a U.K national and must not be subject to immigration control. With an income of £14k (again combined) you will probably get £300+ per a year.
Try the HMRC website for a estimation of how much you can get. |

Yes as long as you have at least one child at school. Try looking on the website below you never know what else you are entitled to.
