sorry to say but i dont think you are as you are not sick or are not jobless as you are taking a college course ema is what you get.

sometimes if your mum and dad are on a low income you may get income support but its you mum and dd that will get it.

also i know you can get grants sometime if parent are on low income to help you through college just go into you local job centre they will tell you all you need to know and what benefits you will be able to get and how to get free things whilst you are in college

l h
Why, what would you like? A house, car, weekly cash handouts?

Just go to college and live like everyone else had to before EMA. Get a weekend or evening job.

im afraid thats all ur entitled to, unless u were carer looking after your parents or something then thats all u'd be able to get. i know it sucks right.

Bren
it depends on yr parents income but they should be able to claim child tax credit for u and also child benefit . dont think there is any benefit that u can claim.

it depends on your parents earnings. you may be entitled to a bursary from the college. visit a finance officer at your college and they will do all they can to help you.

Hope this helps and good luck with college!!

LillyB
Of course not - why would you be!
