As per Income Tax Laws in India, in your case gifts to blood relative, gift tax is not applicable irrespective of gift amount. The relations you mentioned fall under blood relation.

The definition of relative as per income tax includes father, mother, spouse, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son, daughter, fahter's sibilings, mother's sibilings, grandfather, grandmother, etc.

It,s very tricky question as far as my taxation knowledge is concern Any amount gifted by a father to son or daughter is (who is not a Disable person under section 80U & Cash up to Rs 25000/-is not taxble) taxable in India. In case if the gift is given at the time of marrige of a daugher than it is not taxable in india.

it is non taxable upto the limit of Rs. 50000/- and afterwards it will counted as taxable.

like
suppose gifted amount is Rs. 150000/-

Taxable amount = 150000 - 50000(Tax Free limit) = 100000
