Hi,

You can try using the "Where's My Stimulus Payment" tool on the IRS web site to try to determine when you'll be getting your payment. The system will ONLY give results IF your rebate has been processed. Here's the link:

https://sa2.www4.irs.gov/irfof/IRServlet?app=IRACTC

If you are absolutely positive you are eligible for this rebate, and you have no info available when you check the status, then I would start to think that you are not eligible for direct deposit for some reason. Many, many people thought they would be eligible for direct deposit only to find out after the fact that they actually aren't. The reasons for this vary...

Also, a lot of people thought they were getting a rebate only to find out that they had outstanding debts (to the IRS or other tax agency, defaulted student loans, or back child support) and their rebate was applied to the debt instead of being paid to the person.

If your rebate was used to pay off a debt, you will still get info about your rebate on the WMSP system. It will give you all of the same info about what you're getting, why, and when it should be deposited and then at the bottom there will be a message saying that you owe outstanding debt. I have not seen this message personally, but I've been told about it by others who have.

Some people are giving PARTIAL information.Using Turbo tax is not what is causing peopele who did DEIRECT DEPOSIT to gt checks NOW. If you used Turbo tax and had the preparation fees taken out of your 2007 TAX REFUND OR FILED RAPID REFUND then you will be getting a paper check BECAUSE that means the IRS never recevied your banking information and it went through a 3rd party bank for them to be able to deduct money out of your check.. then it went to the IRS so if your bank statement says your deposit came from US -TREASURY then you're fine, and you'lll be receving DEIRECT DEPOSIT. If it says another name or bank then it will be a paper check for you.

Sounds like you are getting a paper check rather than direct deposit. But with numbers that low you should have it soon.

I am 07 and I didn't receive mine either. I did some searching on the irs website and it is saying basically if you filed online, rapid refund, or had your payment for the service deducted from your refund, regardless if you had direct deposit, you will receive your rebate check in the mail by the 16th. Gives me a little hope.

Did you indicate your checking account number on your tax return? Some folks did not get a refund and the number was not included on the form.

In that case, if eligible, your tax rebate check should be mailed about May 16th.

Jss
The rebate payment will equal the amount of tax liability on the return (tax liability on the return Form 1040 line 46 or Form 1040A line 28) with a minimum amount of $300 and a maximum amount of $600 for individuals.

For information on stimulus tax rebate schedule, the eligibility and how much rebate you will get read: http://taxipay.blogspot.com/2008/02/are-you-eligible.html

I love the flipflops
yes, and I have found out mine may not be here for another week or so. Anyone using Turbo Tax or the like, will receive a mailed paper check. The information is on turbotax.com bottom of the page regarding Stimul. checks.

The reason they say, is because Turbo Tax, not the government has our banking information. According to your last digits you are like me and your check should be mailed no later than May 16. I assume this is your case as you, like me have not received yours yet.

I have gone to www.irs.gov but no useful information has been given to me. You can plug in your social security number and number of exemptions and then it should tell you when to expect it. However, it has never worked when I have tried it.

Good luck to you. I hope we both get them soon.
