Dear J: As you can imagine this time of year the wait can be a long one. About three days ago I got an agent with about a 15 minute wait but I was very surprised it didn't take longer. If you have speaker a speaker phone put it on and enjoy the music.

Im on hold right now. 8 minutes, so at least another 15. Will post when I find out what is going on. Talked to my bank (Navy Federal Credit Union). He said he has had other calls and that perhaps the DD will be transmitted when the Federal Reserve opens at 8am. I will keep checking!

I tried to contact my local office and you have to leave a voice message and they will call in the next 24 hours to make an appointment. But, I guess that would mean I have to actually go to the office to talk to someone. Tried the 800 number also and all I got was an automated voice as usual. |

I haven't gotten in touch with them, but I am experiencing the same problem with the Where's My Refund? site saying my refund was deposited on the 23rd. I'm glad that after the 10th time trying to get through, I was smart enough to do some extensive googling. If it is a website problem, then I am less worried for sure. |

I did since on "Where's my Refund?" went from saying I should expect my refund by February 3rd to it was deposited on the 23rd. I called and waited for 45 minutes before I talked to someone and she said this is what all her calls have been about all morning... She told me the information was not correct on the website and the first deposit will be on January 30th (not the 23rd). Hopefully the IRS straightens out the website or they'll be getting these calls all day long! |

Yes, I actually was in contact w/ a live agent. Call the 800-829-1040 number and press the corresponding number for "recieved refund but LOST" and just stay on hold....they will tell you EVERYONE has called about this same issue and transfer you to the refund dept. I have now been listing to "hold music" for 15 minutes...LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE HEARS WHERE THE HELLO OUR REFUNDS ARE???? |

My friend in Ohio said her refund was deposited in her account today. She checked her account and it had been added. I do not know what is going on. It is really weird. |
