Anyone received a stimulus payment that didn't include $300 for child??
Got my payment yesterday, $1200 for me and hubby but nothing for the kiddo, has this happened to anyone else???

It is likely that as a couple, you did not qualify for the full $1200. That means you and your husband got $900 and you got $300 for your qualifying child.

Check the "Where's My Stimulus Payment" link on the IRS web site. If you've already received your payment, it will give you a break down of what you got and why. Otherwise, wait till your letter comes in the mail. It will explain why you only got $1200 - but I'm sure it's because for some reason you didn't qualify for the full amount. It did say "UP TO" $1200 for married filing jointly.

Another thing to consider is the age of your child. Was he or she 16 or under on 12/31/07? If so, then I'm even more convinced the above situation applies to you. If he or she was 17+ on 12/31/07, then he or she is not eligible for the $300 child rebate.

How old is your child?
Did you check the qualifying child box on 6c?

A friend of mine had the same problem, it turns out her ex had claimed the child on his return.

Was your child born during last tax year. If you did not file taxes with your child on them, you will not see that benefit. I have received mine, and I got 300 for each of my 2 children, plus the 1200 for my wife and myself.

The $1200 probably was not just for you. Qualifying couples got UP TO $1200. Sound to me like you and your hubby only qualified for $900 and then $300 for the child

Same thing happened to me. Both my wife and I already live below the poverty line, my two kids are 6 and 4 so I don't know how we would of earned less than the 1200 per couple etc......
