Hey I used to be a tax accountant...plan on the government taking 55-65% of your wages if you are making that kind of money...its called a higher "tax bracket". For example, when I made 50,000 a year I only actually brought home just under 30,000, and that's only because I had a dependent to claim...sorry kid, that's the way it is... |

how do you plan on making 125k a year if you don't even know how taxes work and that 90,000 dollars a year isn't poor |

You lose about 1/3 of your income to taxes. If you're self-employed it can be as much as half. Get a job. Even a part-time minimum wage job. I'll guarantee you that first paycheck will blow your mind when you see the tax portion. |

Yes, your earned income is subject to FICA taxes, federal income tax and state taxes.
You must file your tax return each year and pay taxes as per your tax return.

Life in this country is changing. We're all going to be poor. Get used to it. |

Paying high taxes makes you poor? Wake up! Paying high taxes means you're rich enough to be in a high tax bracket.
Surely you'd prefer that to the alternative: avoiding taxes by staying broke and homeless. |
