Are the stimulus payments delayed?

I filed my 2007 return in March 2008. I received my tax refund in April (Direct Deposit). According to the IRS schedule, anyone who's ss# falls between 21-75 you will receive your stimulus payment no later than May 9th (dd). I have not. Has anyone received their stimulus deposit?

I filed my returns in JANUARY via Taxact.com and efiled as well. Got the refund via direct deposit. I SHOULD have received my stimulus check by the 9th. NADA. NOTHING. My friend got hers 2 weeks ago and we live in the same town!

Many of the payments have been deposited or mailed AHEAD of schedule, not delayed.

A lot of people thought they were eligible for direct deposit of their rebate but weren't, and will get a check in the mail.

Apperently if you used any one, even efile, then you are mailed a check. I filed my own taxes and got direct deposit. But since I used efile.com they took 24.95 out for sending it. My check will be mailed!!

If you go to irs.gov, there is a link to where is my rebate. You need your SS#, filing status, and number of exemptions. It will tell you if you are getting anything and where your rebate is!!

did you file it through Turbo Tax? Was your tax refund deposited into another account first than into yours? If so, you will be mailed your check.

Check the website: www.irs.gov...under "where's my refund" the system is working now and will give data on when to expect your money.

It appears they are not working on distributing numerically, but alphabetically. My digits = 13, my fiancee = 38 - my last name Mc his A. He is receiving his on the 16th me on the 23rd. The annual refunds are distributed alphabetically and I think we were give bad info.
