You will get your tax refund as scheduled. By May of 2008 you will get up to an additional $600. If you can remember when they gave everyone a rebate check years ago, they made theses people pay that money back the following tax year. I don't know if this is the best idea |

I think I remember GB jr having this type of $600 credit several years ago.
It came in addition to the tax refund normally given, as a seperate check. A credit to those taxpayers who are "zero balanced" on the IRS records.
If you already owe taxes and it's not cleared, then you can assume the $600 will go to the IRS first.
That's IF any of this passes. |

This has nothing to do with your income tax return. Its separate and based on your income mostly. The average amount will be 600.00. All of the details have not been worked out yet.

That would be in addition to your IRS refund. The $600 isn't even a for sure thing yet, but most likely it will pass. |

Nothing is definite yet. However that being said.
The Tax Rebate is IN ADDITION to your regular refund. |
|

if you ask-listen for the answer
 |
It is totally separate from your 2007 taxes. They say that around June we will get a check, independent of the 2007 taxes. I believe that the only thing your tax information will be used for is to make sure that your income was in the range that was set. |

It is in addition to your regular tax refund.
Might I suggest that you fill out your w-4 form to have them take the right amount out of your check so you get to spend the money and get back a few dollars instead of letting them use YOUR money until you can get it back? |

you're not necessarily getting anything back -- you could end up still owing. complete a tax form and you will know the answer for your specific case. |

It's not definite that you'll get the entire $600 but if you file single you can get UP TO $600 and couples can get UP TO $1200 and more if they have children. |

The amount is based upon 2007 Income.
So, get your return filed. and keep in mind this is SEPARATE from any refund from overpayments.
This amount goes to every taxpayer who qualifies. |
