Are you going to spend your $300 - $1200 tax rebate?
I think it's a dumb idea. We are in a deficit already. Taxes are way high as well. What they need to do is stop wasting the tax money on stupid stuff like this. Basically they are giving us our money back to spend other places. The government collects taxes and we are in a bigger hole than before.
And no, I wouldn't spend it. It would be less money to give back to those government morons.

Nope I dont want to get hosed on the next years tax return. Knowing my luck I would end up owing them money because I cashed their "rebate", just like a couple of years ago with the 300 rebate fiasco. Its not free it is just a forward on next years taxes basically, so no thanks, sorry economy here comes the recession.

thing is how much would I really get? $300 cause I am a single person? it's not much of a tax relief to me...
and yes I would plan to spend it....something I could not afford to do without whatever amount I would receive...
thats what the government wants from us to put it back into circulation.
it's not a fix...it's another of Bush's plans to build up that deficit as he leaves office this year and some other poor soul will have to figure out how to get the nation out of this deficit..
be well..

I'm going to use mine to help pay for the Iraq war. I hear those mercenaries (sorry, those contractors) charge an arm and a leg. Sometimes even all four limbs!
