I'm all for people being helped out by the state in times of need. However, for friends on low wage incomes- this budget does nothing to help them. When will Labour ever appreciate the 'workers' again? They should take the word- 'Labour' out of their party name. |

They can`t `take` from the poor, nor can they take from the very rich who mostly have legal get-outs - so all they can target are the workers... I suppose they reckon we can work overtime to make up for the extra taxes. |

its always been the same, who evers been in power,Conservatives ruined the mining industry, sparked riots with the poll tax,and crippled the country, labour has over ten years to try to rectify this, and introduced some good benefits for the working man....not the well heeled, but its been a struggle to rectify the onslaught of the conservatives.
saying that ,they all give you something in one hand and take it out of the other.my thoughts they are all as bad as each other, and target the same things in each budget every time ,its sickening. we should all unite and strife for a free country.........we could do with a few more William Wallace's in this country. |

I agree everything is going up except our wages soon we wont be able to survive and pay basic bills. i've nothing against the elderly but they are the only ones who gain from the budget as their winter fuel payment goes up |
