I know I could claim for my uniform but any other bits (jacket, etc) I couldn't claim for because I could "wear them outside of work"... haha, I wouldn't wear my work jacket anywhere but work!

No, unless it was for a uniform use (polo shirts, slacks) but you can use the following tax deductions.
1) purchase of a laptop/desktop
2) office equiment printer (make sure it is an all in one fax, copier, scanner and printer)

lol, no. If that were possible, everyone would be doing that. You can deduct gas, office suplies, maybes client lunches, and other stuff that pertains to work. Now, if you had to purchase a uniform for your office that was mandatory, then I think you would be able to claim it. Good luck! |
