The IRS is a federal body, so I wouldn't be risking that if I were you.
Then again, who knows how long your federal government will last. May as well bleed them for as much as possible while you can! |

No, you are required to report your employment wherever you are.
And you mention "on the books" - it is highly illegal to work off the books and not report it to the unemployment people if you are collecting unemployment. |

Here's a nutshell answer: yes, right up until the grand jury indicts you for fraud, you are tried, and sent to prison.
That is not a garden variety misdemeanor - that's felony theft and fraud.

Any question beginning with the words, "can I", always gets a yes answer! You CAN do pretty much what you want! The real question is "am I in trouble?" If caught, YES!
If you had asked the question with "should I?" The answer isn't always yes or no! |

Possibly. I don;t know about Mass, but in Pennsylvania, you can earn a % of your weekly benefit and not be penalized. For example, you benefit may be $ 300 a week, and you could earn up to $ 140 a week and not have it affect your weekly benefit. You still have to report the earnings as earnings.
To answer this question, you would have to say what your " partial allowance" in MA is, and how much you are earning in NH. |

While you didn't say it, it sounds like you weren't planning to tell Mass about the New Hampshire job.
Bad move--they'll share data and find out about it eventually and then demand to be paid back. If that's in a different tax year, you may find that it's expensive to pay income taxes in year 1 and get an unuseable deduction in year 2 (if it's less than $3000, you won't get some or all of the taxes you paid back). You won't be able to claim ignorance. |

You are entitled to unemployment benefits if you are unemployed. If you are employed in in New Hampshire, you are not unemployed. Go for the obvious. |

no, that is fraud. and you will be discovered when you file your taxes at the end of the year because no matter what state you reside in, you have to file all income for the year. |
