Yes it should be awarded automatically as child tax credits is given to everyone. And CTC has actually replaced some of your income support. A few years ago i was receiving appx £120 per week including child ben from Income Support, now it is only £59.15 and the rest is made up from Tax credits. If you are not already receiving them get on to HMRC asap. |

Yes of course you can just make sure you answer all the questions honestly, im surprized your job centre didnt advice you of all this when you applied for income support....As they helped me do it all while i was there after my husband left. |

I think that you have to go to work to be able to get it, but dont count on that cos i aint too sure.
